About the Great Crested Flycatcher
A big, loud flycatcher of the treetops, gray-throated with a lemon belly and rusty flashes in the wings and tail. It nests in cavities and has a well-known habit of weaving a shed snakeskin into the lining. You hear its rising wheep! long before you find the bird.
