About the Gray Fox
A salt-and-pepper fox of Texas brush country, told from its red cousin by a black-striped tail and rusty flanks. It is the only member of the dog family in North America that regularly climbs trees, and it moves mostly at dusk and after dark, which makes a clean daylight look a real piece of luck.
