Objective: To obtain employment in one or more of the following fields:

Web Design / Development Graphics Design / 3D Animation

Programming Experience:

PHP, MySql

I have been programming sites mostly in PHP now for 3 years. I have converted a lot of my ASP sites over to PHP. In PHP, I have programmed a lead generator site for prepaid legal services, a mortgage company site, an apartment finding service and several others.

ASP, SQL, Access

I have programmed several sites using ASP with a SQL database backend. ASP development includes programming a residential homebuilder’s website, EpprightHomes.com, a real-time time management system for use on an internet/intranet site and a task list system with functionality for use with palm devices and the web. Another site programmed was an e-commerce solution for Micro-Media Solutions, which is no longer in business. I programmed a shopping cart which you could add computers and computer products for purchase. This shopping cart utilized Cybercash for credit card payments. I later added Microsoft Site Server Commerce to do these tasks.

Other sites include a coupon section for the TravelTex website in which you can print out coupons stored in a SQL database. I also programmed two administration utilities with ASP with which both the client that purchased the coupons and the owner of the site can do maintenance of coupons. There was also an approval process for coupons built into these functions for administration.

Other sites included debugging of ASP code for use with SQL databases and building utilities on intranets using ASP with SQL and MS Access.

HTML, JavaScript

Use html for layout and design of websites. I’ve used JavaScript for things such as clocks, page manipulation and real-time processing of running totals such as for the shopping cart used in the site mentioned in the ASP section above.

Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Image Ready, Macromedia Fireworks, Macromedia Flash

I’ve used Photoshop for over 10 years. I use it for all my graphics whether I’m doing still art, 3D graphics or gif animations. I usually only use graphics that I create so viewers of my sites never see a repeat of graphics elsewhere on the net. Along with Photoshop, I use Adobe Image Ready and Macromedia Fireworks for use in splicing images and creating gif animations. I use flash for higher end animation in static and dynamic content sites.

Autodesk 3ds Max

I use 3ds Max in cases either where extreme 3D graphics are needed or where 3D animation is needed. Examples of my work have been seen in Television commercials such as Lady Golf, Western Staff Services and Alexander Lumber and Home Center in Palm Springs, Doctor’s Nutrition Systems in Paducah, Kentucky, White Heart and Play Alday in Nashville, Tennessee, Channel 35 WLIO in Lima, Channel 18 WLFI in Lafayette, “Check Yes or No” music video for Dueces Wild in Nashville, Tennessee, “Defrost Master 2000” in Australia, Iron Computer in Austin, Texas and several others.

Macromedia Dreamweaver, NoteTab Pro, TextPad, MS FrontPage

These are some of the tools that I have experience with. I mostly use Dreamweaver since I most always program my code in without the use of tools that automatically do it. This way I know exactly what is being programmed into all of my pages. I can then do a sample view through it’s design template.

Servers, Software Setup

While at MSI, I set up all websites on the DNS servers as well as the mail accounts on the mail server utilizing MS Exchange software. I also completely reinstalled and setup the main DNS server using MS Site Server Commerce edition. This setup allowed us a complete e-commerce solution, which we used for our online computer store.
